#Mashion & #Meauty No.7 : The Flip Flops Debate

The 7th Post in the Series of #Mashion and #Meauty Posts on a Males attempt to understand the #BBloggers world. This Post is about Legs and Flip Flops! Enjoy

Before we start I'd like to say this is actually the 100th Post on this Blog!! How Awesome is that?! Thank you to everyone who has read, commented and shared any of the Posts on this Blog. So thank you. Hope you keep coming back.

The Seventh (#7) Post in this series of Posts where I challenge myself to try and understand the world of #BBloggers and even #FBloggers.  Click HERE to read the Previous Entries if you haven't.

So seven posts in and you guys (sorry Girls I'm assuming) are NOT bored of me yet?.........Oh Some of you are? Sorry about that, I promise I'll attempt to sound interesting and even entertaining.......*I Can't Promise such a thing, but it's the thought that counts I suppose*

This Post I will attempt to cover something that was brought to my attention from many people, and a Post I even posted on Instagram for some reason (I felt like I was ignoring my Instagramming so decided to throw up something). The Topic was all about LEGS! That's right LEGS! Those two things connected to your torso that help you move about.

I for one am what you would call a "Legs Man". Some Guys are "Boob Guys" some are "Bum Guys" some are simply "Gay Guys" but lets not put labels on anyone here, we all have our preferences. I have always acknowledged and appreciated he sight of a pair of Lovely Long legs. I find them incredibly sexy and weapon some women use to make other guys weak at the knees.

Ok, Now this Post isn't just me drooling over the perfect pins, The original focus of my Question was simple

"Now the Sun is out, is it OK to get the Legs out? even though it's still not warm?"

I'm all for people wearing what they want! Fine! I also know a Skirt and tights is an all round look for many people, but I'm talking about bare legs and flip flops in April. Maybe this stems down to the fact i HATE Flip Flops and have a massive issue with peoples feet. I Love a Girl in Heels! I LOVE Legs, but HATE Feet. I suppose it's my Yin and Yang.

I've had various discussions over Twitter about my hatred of Flip Flops and I just find it a turn off, especially if the feet aren't very pretty. Men and Women who wear Flip Flops and Jean's really Irk me for some reason, I really don't know why. As I write this whole piece I feel as if I'm annoying or losing a lot of you, and I don't blame you. I can't quite explain why I hate Feet so much and why Flip Flops really annoy me.

Maybe you can help me. Maybe this post is therapy for me. Maybe, just Maybe this whole thing can bring out the core problem I have and help me move on

Or Maybe I'm destined to hate Feet and Flip Flops for my entire life causing me to consistently walk along the beach with a sour look on my face.

You Decide! You HELP me!

Hope You are enjoying my series of Posts. Please feel free to leave me your thoughts below and even a Tweet at @BarkerPODcasts

    1. haha Stripper Heels?! No Way! Uggs maybe! just a nice pair of heels or even sneakers/trainers. Not flip flops hahaha

      I Knew you'd comment! I knew it haha x

  2. I sympathise, I loathe and despise feet! I'd cut my own off if I thought I could cope without them, they're horrible.
I do love flipflops though - they're so comfy! I agree there are prettier sandals but sometimes you just want something comfy to slip into :)
This made me laugh, as always! Keep them coming :)

    Jesss xo

  3. No it is not ok for gals to walk around bare when it's not warm, I feel like an old woman but for god sake cover it up! Haha. And i kind of understand this flip flop issue you have as i too hate feet. However i do wear flip flops, i'm sorry but im not having sweaty feet in the summer and i can't walk in heels so nor am i walking around like barbi everywhere haha. Maybe it's because you are showing not very pretty flip flops with a combination of manky feet that makes you hate them so? And wahooo on the 100th post haha :)

    1. thanks for the wahooo on 100th Post x
Yeah maybe i'm purposely showing manky feet to put forward my flip flop hatred lol
Maybe i have less a problem with feet and more problem with men in flip flops haha

  4. Hah, you know I always looked at people's feet. It annoys me, I probably look like a girl with feet fetish, but trust me, I'm not :D Especially toes fascinate me, but not in a good way. lol. I even look at my own feet all the time if I'm bare foot. I am not a big flip flop lover, because I can't find comfortable pair. I actually had one, but had to throw them away, becase they were so worn out. I can't wear heels all the time, they kill me in 5 minutes, I just can't stand them and I'm not exagurating.
I hate guys in flip flops though, because most of them have unattractive "manly" feet, hairy toes and looks disgusting. I call them, The Hobbit feet and I guess you know what that means.
I would like to overcome my "feet fetish" (didn't know how to call it otherwise :D) and stop looking at feet. I love summer, but feet frustrates me.
Another great post! and congrats on so many posts! I wish you many more! :)

Yeah Men in Flip Flops is a Big No!! seriously wrong, can't stand it.
I would never wear flip flops either as I hate the feel and sound they make too.

  5. I can't walk in flip flops, I'm clumsy and just fall over in them so sandals or shoes for me. I'm not a huge fan of feet so I have tattoos on mine so I see less of them, some nail varnish too and a nice pair of shoes then I'm good to go.

  6. I am all for flip flops. I love them!! I don't mind a pair of heels but they are hard enough to walk in at the best of times. No way are they going near bare feet in the summer! Swollen feet in the summer and a pair of skyscrapers are not a good look. Neither are the complimentary blisters that come with them! I assure you anyway I have pretty feet :))

    1. Ok, maybe i was being a LAD when i said i love a girl in heels. Infact Girls look hot in converses to me. just look after your feet!
Im begining to think girls in flip flop is acceptable if feet are looked after.
men in flip flops NO! stop it!

  7. Agreed!!!! Flipflops are just another disguised product Satan brought to this earth, together with Crocs, Uggs and Shutter Shades. They are just so unelegant and they make all feet uglier than they already are. Nice slippers or sandals, OK, but flipflops... Noooooo! I have this feet thing too. Feet are hideous and ugly feet are just a pain to look at! Especially hammer toes or feet that are not taken care off. Big turns off, ugh

    Another great post, Adam! :)

  8. he he he! I am a flip flop wearer and birkenstock wearer too. I tend to get them out when its hot but admit I hate the sound they make when people walk. I hate feet, can't stand them which is amusing if I do a pedicure! Mens feel I find even worse (Especially if they are all veiny and don't get me started on toe nails!). Eugh, but alas I digress. I would rather don my flip flops any day over Crocs, now there's a debate hun. Crocs, created my devil for people to wear and look stupid! Arrgh hate the fucking things! Even my children aren't allowed to wear them LOL x

  9. Flip flops are to clumsy, sandals take to long to put on with the straps. A nice toe-loop sandal is the best of both worlds.
